  • Enwell Energy increased its average daily production

    British Company Enwell Energy plc, a part of Smart Energy, announces its operational and financial unaudited results for H1, 2020. For six months the company has increased its average daily production rate of hydrocarbons by approximately 8%, while the revenues have decreased by 21.1%, reports the official announcement by Enwell Energy at the AIM Market of the London Stock Exchange.

  • Arkona Gas-Energy prepared site for first well

    Arkona Gas-Energy LLC, a part of Smart Energy Group and an operator of Svystunkivsko-Chervonolutske field (Poltava oblast), completed preparation of the site for drilling the first well. Spudding is scheduled for the end of 2020. A new well will be the first one, drilled at the field since 1994.

  • Arkona Gas-Energy filed appeal

    Smart Energy Group that is one of TOP 5 biggest private gas producers of Ukraine informs that Arkona Gas-Energy LLC (a part of Smart Energy Group) filed an appeal to the Sixth Appellate Administrative Court. It aims at cancelling the ruling by the District Administrative Court of Kyiv, issued on the claim by PJSC Ukrnafta about recognizing Svystunkivsko-Chervonolutske exploration licence of Arkona Gas-Energy LLC (hereafter Arkona) as invalid.

  • Smart Energy announces unreasonable pressure on its business

    At the moment employees of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (hereinafter NABU) are conducting a search at the central office of Smart Energy Group (part of Smart-Holding), as well as at the office in Yakhnyki village (Poltava region). The basis for the searches is a writ of investigative judge of anti-corruption court T.R. Khamzina. Based on the wording of the writ, investigative actions are carried out as part of pre-trial investigation in criminal proceedings on legitimacy of issuing in 2017 a special permit for hydrocarbon production to Arkona Gas-Energy  (hereinafter Arkona), the acquisition of which was announced on London Stock Exchange in March this year.

  • Smart Energy Group paid UAH 519 mln in taxes for H1, 2020

    For 1H, 2020, the companies of Smart Energy Group in total paid UAH 519.4 mln in taxes, 37.2% down comparing to the similar indicator of last year. From this sum UAH 213.9 mln are subsoil taxes to the budgets of all levels. Meanwhile, UAH 10.7 mln from subsoil taxes were transferred to the local budgets.

    British Company Enwell Energy, a part of Smart Energy, that holds 100% working interest and is an operator of Mekhedivsko-Golotovshchynske, Svyrydivske, Vasyshchivske and Svystunkivske-Chervonolutske fields, announces that all its licences are valid.

  • British Regal Petroleum changed its name and launched new website

    Public British Company Regal Petroleum plc (a part of Smart Energy) that produces hydrocarbons on the territory of Ukraine, completed the procedure of its name change. Starting from May 29 the company is operating under the name of Enwell Energy plc.

  • Regal Petroleum plc becomes Energy Enwell plc

    Public British Company Regal Petroleum plc (a part of Smart Energy) that produces hydrocarbons on the territory of Ukraine, announces that it is changing its name to Enwell Energy plc. The сompany has filed documentation with Companies House (UK) in order to change the name, which will be effective once Companies House has registered the change and issued a new certificate of incorporation on change of name.

  • Smart Energy Group put a new well on production at Svyrydivske field

    British company Regal Petroleum, a part of Smart Energy, obtained commercial inflow of hydrocarbons from a new development well at Svyrydivske field in Poltava oblast.

  • Smart Energy Group paid UAH 314.8 mln in taxes for Q1, 2020

    For Q1, 2020, Smart Energy Group paid UAH 314.8 mln in taxes, down 38% y-o-y. Although production increase, the subsoil taxes has gone down as well. Totally the companies of the group paid UAH 119.8 mln to the budgets of all levels, down 42% against Q1, 2019.

  • Court case against former head of PrJSC Ukrgazvydobutok is closed

    Kharkiv District Court closed criminal proceedings on charges of Vadym Mokhov, the former head of PrJSC Ukrgazvydobutok of allegedly illegal production of hydrocarbons and abuse of authority. The court made such decision since the prosecutor dropped the charges entirely. The ruling comes into force on April 23rd, 2020.

  • Smart Energy Group increased average daily gas production by 7.8% in Q1, 2020

    In Q1, 2020, the companies of Smart Energy Group increased the total average daily production rate by 7.8%: from 981 Km3/day up to 1.06 mln m3/day for gas. The average daily production rate for condensate in the group reached nearly 0.1 Ktonnes/day (up 6.3%) for the reported period.
