    Chief Geologist of Smart Energy Group

    He has held position of Chief Geologist of Smart Energy Group since 2013.

    From 2011 to 2013 he was Chief Geologist of PrJSC Ukrgazvydobutok.

    In 2007-2011 as the Head of Department of Geology in NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine (JSC Ukrgasvydobuvannya) he implemented programs of geological exploration and field development of fields and areas of GPD Kharkivgazdobycha, subsurface integrated study, seismic exploration and other prospecting activities. 

    From 2002 to 2007 worked in the Department of Geology of GPD Kharkivgazdobycha NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine wh ere he worked his way from geologist to the Head of the Department of Geology. 

    From 2000 to 2002 Mr. Semenyuk worked at Research and Development Institute RDIgas of Ukraine in the Department of Rock Mass Studies and Gas Reserves Estimation, wh ere he studied physical properties of rocks.


    In 2000 he graduated from Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas (IFNTUOG), Mining Engineer-Geophysicist specialty.

    In 2004 took training on «Modern methods and technologies of prospecting and exploration of oil and gas fields and preparation activities for further development», IFNTUOG.

    In 2008 took training on «Public Procurement in Ukraine», facilitated by the Tender Chamber of Ukraine.

    In 2010 took training on «Analysis and assessment of oil and gas exploration risks» at Tutkovskiy University. 

    In 2017 took training on Thunderbird Executive Education masterclass on «Oil & Gas Industry».

    Mr. Semenyuk is an author of 10 research articles.
